Incident Report #00004563
December 13th, 2005
Today, we had to restrain Pvt. XXX XXXXXXXXXX from Recon Sector Team 8. He is currently tranquilized in Confinement Cell #XXX. We have no idea what was wrong with him. He stumbled into the cafeteria drenched in sweat, beat-red, and drooling. XXX has a lot of friends here, even I know he’s one of the nicer Recon guys. One of them approached him out of concern, and that’s when XXX went XXXXXXX berserk! He pinned the guy down immediately and was trying to break his arms or something. It took like three of us to get him off. XXX was yelling and growling like an animal. He couldn’t look us in the eye or respond at all. We had to call someone to come knock him out. What the XXXX was that?

Incident Report #00004568
December 16th, 2005
I am part of the staff responsible for monitoring Pvt. XXX XXXXXXXXXX in Containment Cell #XXX. Today is the third day of Pvt. XXXXXXXXXX’s containment. He has continued to display extreme aggression towards anyone in his vicinity regardless of gender, social status, or his past relationship with the person. He seems to be hardly comprehending our speech. XXX refuses to eat when we are around (because he is too distracted trying to attack us), but camera surveillance shows he will occasionally rip his meal apart and engulf it like an animal when left alone. His behavior and mental capacity have been similar to that of an enraged ape.
At 7:12 AM today, we gave XXX a sedative, bathed him, and cleaned his cell. The sedative wore off within 3 hours, and we expected him to return to his violent craze. Instead, XXX woke up around 10:30 AM with his original personality restored. He remembers nothing from the past three days, and is feeling extreme fatigue. Some of my staff is still afraid to approach him, but he has returned to his normal self again and should be removed from the Containment List.
Around the same time as when XXX woke up, a member of my staff, XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX, became extremely agitated over a very minor issue in the office. I was surprised to see it, as XXXXXX is often quiet and mild-mannered. He was screaming at us, shouting threats, spitting into the air. It was a completely unprompted breakdown. Suddenly, XXXXX XXXXXXX from my staff grabbed XXXXXX‘s arm and noticed a large red welt on the back of his hand.
Upon closer inspection, it was a little bug. It’s something similar to a tick, but it just didn’t look right. We pulled it off of XXXXXX‘s hand and put it in a sealed container. The thing is definitely still alive. Once the tick was pulled off, XXXXXX was his usual self again within five minutes. He also did not remember behaving so aggressively.
Anyway, I have it sealed up in a glass container. I will have it sent downstairs to the lab around 1:00 PM today. Can someone follow up with me in a few days? I want to be sure there’s only one of these things in the building…
